Alistair Common has been living and working in West Cornwall since 1980. Self taught, he started developing and printing photographs in his father’s darkroom as a child. This passion has remained with him ever since. His work has been exhibited internationally. Alistair's love of Cornwall and the countryside has been a continuing source of inspiration and led him to create an atmospheric collection of images of the area which aim to capture some of its essence in a way that is sensual, sensitive and sometimes quirky.
