Born in Wales in the 1960s, Jon pursued his education and subsequently joined the Royal Navy. After his time in the navy, Jon decided to transition to carpentry and joinery, working on a variety of projects across the beautiful landscapes of Devon and Cornwall.

Woodworking has always been his passion. Jon strives to unlock the full potential of each piece of material he works with, whether it's crafting small items such as bowls and clocks or larger pieces like tables. Whenever possible, Jon sources his materials locally, often from storm-damaged trees, as he believes in giving new life to fallen timber.

One of the elements that makes Jon's art unique is his use of resins. Incorporating resins into the pieces allows Jon to enhance the natural beauty of the wood, creating truly one-of-a-kind works of art. Each piece tells a story and reflects his dedication to the craft.
