James Eddy is inspired by the furious movement and flowing forms created by fish shoals, especially the bait balls formed when fish are herded and attacked by dolphins, tuna and birds. 'I crafted the first sculpture whilst living in Gwithian, in Cornwall, as I sat late one night listening to the sea. From the outset I wished to explore the shadows I could cast, and using a single flickering 'T Light', I discovered a beautiful shadow shoal dancing on the ceiling of my chalet....'
