Lindsay Telling is a Bristol based artist, who also lives in Fowey for part of the year. To date her inspiration has come from the work of John Piper, Graham Sutherland, Kurt Jackson and Andy Goldsworthy, but more recently she has been inspired by the elements of spring and nature. In particular, the green, purple and cream husks of the wild parsley plant seen on her walks, has led to this series of platters and coasters. Lindsay works from photographs and sketches and by using both clear and opaque glass has interpreted her findings into her range of work.
