Wendy Horner creates her mixed media art works at her studio in Mevagissey on the south Cornish coast. Wendy uses acrylic, inks, fabrics, fibres and hand stitching to create her multi textured artworks. Inspired by her surroundings, views of the coastline, nature and the sea, Wendy explores patterns, textures and colours within her work. Wendy uses a variety of processes including sculpture, printing, mark making, embossing to create stunning pieces of textured artwork, making each of her artworks completely unique. Wendy's artwork can be fully appreciated hung in a light airy space, without direct sunlight, to bring out the depth of the textures and colours used.
