Mark Albon Is an artist based in Lincolnshire. He works with wood and recycled materials to create his truly unique sculptures. His work is shaped by the individual qualities of the materials he uses - particularly the texture, markings and character of wood that he ‘begs, borrows and steals’ from family and friends. Mark sees the materials he uses in a different light to most other people, finding character and a natural beauty in each rescued piece of wood. Mark creates his sculptures from his shed at home and focuses on using sustainable, reclaimed materials to create his whimsical sculptures.
