Liz Newbery's work is inspired by local landscapes and a love of nature. She studied illustration at Falmouth School of Art and Design before completing an Art Degree at The University College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth. After a 20 year teaching career, she has returned to her first love of painting and now concentrates on producing small scale original images of the Cornish coast and countryside. Each piece is created predominantly with acrylics and a range of miniature tools. They burst with colour and vibrancy and represent some of the finest scenes in the county. 'Patience and a good magnifying glass are a must!
