Catherine Carsley graduated from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in ceramics. 'Growing up in the countryside and with a deep love of the Cornish coast, I have developed a fascination with the natural world and the incredible perfection and balance contained within such a diverse and intricate environment. This is reflected in my work, through the exploration of organic forms such as fossils, rock and shell formations and the relationship between interior and exterior.'
